August 24, Microsoft change its corporate logo that has been used
for 25 years, officially launched a new Logo, the new Logo base on the inheritance
and also herald the future - novelty and fresh. Since Microsoft's 1975
inception, it has used for five Logo, and this is the second time that
Microsoft change the Logo sine it Listing in 1986.
Now let’s review Microsoft’s successive five Logo,
The first Logo :1975-1979, the top line is the "Micro",
the following line is "Soft", reflects two aspects of the
"mini-computer" and “software” this two content.
The second Logo :1980-1981, the word "Microsoft" with
jagged edges, reflect the personal computer and video game culture.
The third Logo :1982-1986, in the letter "O" have many
horizontal lines, a symbol of the the hyphen between "Micro" and
"Soft".
The fourth Logo :1987-2012, in the lower right of the letter
"O" has a gap, and the letter "f" was linked to the
"t".
The fifth Logo: 2012 enabled, first added icon symbol in the logo, it
is composed of four different color square collage; and the word
"Microsoft" use the Segoe font.
