said, Microsoft has
started to bantheir employees use company
money to buy a competitor's product.
It is reported that Microsoft's chief financial
officer Alain Crozier has sent out an email notification to
their 46,000 employees in marketing, technology, service and sales departments .
In the e-mail, Crozier said the company's capital should
not be used to buy Apple products (Mac & the
iPad), Soon after, the company will also give in the United
States standard procurement mechanism.
ZDNet Web site in the article pointed out
that Microsoft has repeatedly issued such a
ban procurement order. In 2009,
Microsoft announced that does not allow employees
to use company funds to buy the iPhone,
Blackberry and Palm devices and data plan. In 2010,
Microsoft team members have recieved the Windows
Phone mobile phone for free.
